Log In for Off-Campus Access to Library Resources
 

Log in with your Graduate Center account.

Current students, faculty, and staff: Use your GC network account username (not your full email address).

Retired faculty and staff: If you have a GC email account, use your full email address (e.g., user@gc.cuny.edu or user@ret.gc.cuny.edu). Otherwise, use your special retiree account for library privileges. Learn about retiree access.

 

 


Troubleshooting

If you have problems connecting to a database:

  1. Try logging in to Citrix, the GC’s remote computing site, with your GC network username and password. If you are not able to log in to Citrix, your password has expired. See below how to reset your password.
  2. If you are able to login to Citrix, go back to the databases page and try logging in to a different database. If the second database works, the problem is with the first database. Please report the problem so we can fix it.

Reset Your Network Account Password

  • If you have registered your network account with IT’s Password Reset tool, you can reset your password and/or unlock your account there.
  • Otherwise, contact IT Services at itservices@gc.cuny.edu or, for emergencies, (212) 817-7300.

Off-Campus Access via Library Barcode

All CUNY students, faculty, and staff can access CUNY-wide library resources (a subset of the GC’s offerings) with their library barcode numbers.
